Thanks for checking out my website and for taking the time to learn a little bit about me and what I do! Let me give you the abbreviated version of my story so you can keep crushing it at whatever you were doing before you hopped on here.

I was born in 1998 in Wilmington, North Carolina, to two wonderful, loving parents. I grew up there in Wilmington my whole childhood, attending Pine Valley Baptist Church from birth to 14 years old and Myrtle Grove Christian School from kindergarten through sixth grade. I didn’t have many friends in elementary school, or friends my age at church, so my imagination was really put to work, and my creativity showed in my sketching and story writing.

I started writing around fifth grade when my older brother, Luke, started writing stories. Being a middle child, I wanted to do whatever my big brother did, so I wrote my first few stories with my best friend, Jonathan. I was homeschooled for seventh and eighth grade, and I didn’t write much during that time.

I attended Grace Baptist Church and Wilmington Christian Academy during high school, made some good friends, and exercised my creativity mostly in drama. I ran cross-country, worked A/V, and played soccer, and I enjoyed my time in student leadership. High school drama, however, captured most of my interest, and that love for the arts stayed with me.

The most important thing to come out of high school, however, was that I came to believe that Jesus is God the Son, and I repented of a life lived apart from my Creator. It is the most important thing I have ever done or ever will do.

I graduated high school in 2016 and eventually enrolled at Cape Fear Community College, where I graduated two years later with my Associate in Arts degree. I went on to pursue my bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Bible at Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa.

I had a fantastic three years at Faith, meeting lifelong friends and making connections that eventually led me to Harvest Ministries on Guam, first for an internship at Harvest Family Radio and then to work full time as the Communications Coordinator and head of the Communications Department, where I still serve today.

It was during my time in community college that I published my first book, The Goodnight Stone. I recorded my first radio commercials and produced my first radio show, Jack’s Treehouse, during my time at Faith. I began work on several podcasts and published my second book while living and working here on Guam.

I have had ups and downs like anyone, but I can see that I have lived, and continue to live, a very blessed life where the hand of the Lord has been evident, and He has been a good Father to me, His son. I look forward to loving Him and people through my work for many years to come, Lord willin’ and the creek don’t rise!
