From the KHMG, Harvest Family Radio website:
“Live 'til Five is a weekly talk and variety program heard on Harvest Family Radio. It is designed to give you an alternative on your Friday drive home.” -
I have the pleasure of serving as the sidekick for Pastor Jared on Live ‘til Five. I have been on nearly every episode since he started back in 2025. I host the segment “This Day in History,” which highlights historical events that happened on “this” day, along with trivia questions related to those events. When Pastor Jared is away, I host the whole show and try to live up to all of his antics, putting my own spin on them, of course. I also got to direct the media shoot and relaunch of Live ’til 5 when it restarted in 2025.

From the Pacific Hope podcast:
“Pacific Hope is a Bible teaching program from Harvest Baptist Church and Harvest Family Radio on Guam. Pastor Gary Walton is our speaker five days a week.” -
Pacific Hope has been a long-awaited release. I began working on this show back in 2023, helping to come up with the name, design the graphics, and put together a plan for how to run the show. We finally published the radio show and podcast in February of 2026. I lend my voice to the intro and outro of each show. It is a pleasure to be able to have this kind of involvement in a podcast like this coming from my own church.

From the GraceWay D.C. podcast:
“A weekly sermon series from the pulpit of GraceWay Baptist Church in Washington, D.C.
GraceWay has a vision of reaching Washington, D.C. for Christ. Not only do we want to reach out to the leaders in government, but we also want to connect with staffers, lobbyists, and interns on all levels of government.” -
I have been recording, editing, and producing the GraceWay D.C. podcast since 2023. I have a special connection with this church, as they have ministered to friends and family of mine for many years. Recording the intro and outro and editing this podcast were my first introduction to regular podcast work. It is a pleasure to be able to listen to the sermons of Pastor Brad Wells and work on this show every week.

From the Song of Songs for Singles website:
“Song of Songs for Singles teaches singles biblical wisdom concerning love, marriage, and sexuality. Contrary to popular opinion, the Song of Songs not only possesses a message for married couples, but also teaches singles biblical principles concerning love, marriage, and intimacy. Song of Songs for Singles helps singles interpret and apply the enigma of the Song of Songs.” -
Recording the audiobook for Song of Songs for Singles was one of the largest projects I have ever undertaken, and also one of the most rewarding. I knew my way around audio at the time, but I did not know all the intricacies and differences between recording an entire book and recording short-form content, which is what I was used to. It was a pleasure to be able to lend my voice to this heartfelt and thoughtful work. Dr. Tim is a friend of mine from college, as he was a professor and the operator of the bookstore while I attended Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa.

The KHMG Thanksgiving Special is a full-length audio drama created in 2021 for Harvest Family Radio as a special Thanksgiving episode to celebrate the holiday and kick off KHMG’s season of Christmas music. The special follows Jared Ball as he makes his way around the Harvest campus, learning lessons about Thanksgiving and what it means to be thankful.

I pitched “The KHMG Thanksgiving Special” to station manager Chris Harper during my internship at Harvest Family Radio in 2021. I was an eager college student at the time who loved storytelling and radio dramas, thanks to growing up listening to Adventures in Odyssey. Chris gave me the opportunity and let me do whatever I wanted for a Thanksgiving special. I really gave it my all writing the script, recording the sound effects, gathering talent, editing, and producing “The KHMG Thanksgiving Special.” I got to take this project from start to finish, and I even got to choose the first song of Christmas (on KHMG), which is what the special led up to. This is a very special project to me, and I hope it is one of the first of several heartfelt audio dramas.

“Jack’s Treehouse” is a kid’s radio drama and podcast short created for the purpose of entertaining children with clean and creative stories, teaching biblical and moral truths, and properly exercising the imagination. “Jack’s Treehouse” follows the lives and adventures of Jack and his “animal” buddy Waddles as they learn about God and His world, and run their radio show from a treehouse in the jungle.

Jack’s Treehouse was one of those life-changing projects that you never intended to create. I had the opportunity to visit a radio station, 99.3 The Truth, just outside of Ankeny IA during my time in college, and I met the station manager there, who is now a friend of mine, John Desaulniers Jr. I pitched a small pet project I was working on, a children’s radio drama called Jack’s Treehouse, and he said he would let me put it on the air when time allowed. I ended up making seven very short episodes during COVID, and he was kind enough to play all of them. I also released them as a podcast. I have no idea if anyone ever listened to the show, but I had a great time working on it; making bird sounds and walking on dry leaves in my backyard, breaking glass in the garage, and walking all over my house with a microphone pointed at my feet. It was a pivotal project I had to work through in order to develop my skills and passions. It ended up being one of the reasons I got an internship at Harvest Family Radio on Guam, and eventually my full-time job as Communications Coordinator for the ministry. I will always have a soft spot for Jack’s Treehouse.
